Researching from Off Campus

Globe University, Minnesota School of Business, and Utah Career College Students:

Most library services are available from any internet connection. When you're off-campus, you'll need to log in. Do not include @students.msbcollege.edu @students.utahcollege.edu or @students.globeuniversity.edu, etc. after your username. It is usually:

Username =  firstname.lastname
Password = last 4 digits of your social security number
OR
Password = your capitalized first and last initials followed by the last 4 digits of your social security number
OR
Password = if you've changed your email password, try your new password

Institute of Production and Recording Students:

If the above formula does not work, try:

Username: first.last@students.ipr.edu
Password: last 4 digits of Social Security #
OR uppercase initials plus the last 4 digits of your Social Security#

Faculty and Staff:

You can also access the library from home. Use the same username and password that you use for email. If this is not working, please contact the HelpDesk. Note: if you're using a VPN connection, you'll need to log in to SharePoint, then click on the "VPN DL" link.
