Research tips: Health Care is a complex, but FUN, research area. But with these steps you can be more successful…
- Start by writing down your research question and underline key concepts.
- Think of synonyms and alternate terms for each of the main concepts
- Think broader, or narrower, depending on results of initial searches
- Consult a medical dictionary or index, if available, to narrow and focus the search
Example topic: Is family stress a predictor of health outcomes?

- You can find magazines in the campus libraries by searching the Journal Search or the Library Catalog.
