- Information about authors
- Search:
- If you get stuck, ask yourself these questions:
- Is your author still alive and writing?
- If so, his/her information may still be in flux, and it is less likely a book would have been written about them.
- Is your author dead?
- If this is the case, his/her biographical information will be fixed, and there may be biographies written about him/her.
- What era is your author from?
- You may be able to find compilations based on that era -- for example there is good information about Langston Hughes in books about the Harlem Renaissance.
- What genre or format does your author write in?
- He/she may be discussed in works discussing that genre or format.
